Zangief has been confirmed for "Street Fighter 5" but the game's executive producer wasn't too happy about one of the characters leaking ahead of her official debut.
Capcom confirmed last week that Zangief will be playable in next year's "Street Fighter 5."
As Polygon pointed out, the Russian wrestler has been in the franchise since "Street Fighter 2" came out in 1991. His moves make look familiar but Capcom assured fans the "red cyclone" has new tricks up his sleeves.
Like other "Street Fighter 5" characters, Zangief gets new V-Skill, Iron Muscle and V-Trigger, Cyclone Lariat.
"During Iron Muscle, Zangief can absorb one attack, which leaves him with recoverable health," according to Capcom.
Holding the medium punch and medium kick buttons results in the character unleashing a flexing move at the end of Iron Muscle.
With Cyclone Lariat, the Russian wrestler spins quickly to pull in his opponent. Holding the V-Trigger buttons lets him continue spinning to score multiple hits.

Meanwhile, one of the game's characters, Brazilian fighter Laura, was leaked last week but "Street Fighter 5" executive producer Yoshinori Ono wasn't happy about the whole thing.
As Attack of the Fanboy reported, the leak came from Famitsu, one of Japan's most prominent media sources.
With Laura being Brazilian and having a stage set in Rio de Janiero, the website thought this week's Brasil Game Show was supposed to be her official unveiling.
That said, Ono took to Twitter to express his disappointment over Laura's premature unveiling.
"It it rather disappointing that he seemed to have the perfect plan with the reveal of the new Brazilian fighter [at] the Brazil Game Show and yet it was completely ruined with a leak," Attack of the Fanboy said.
Still, the website sees the possibility of more "Street Fighter 5" characters at the event.
