Season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory" started a few weeks ago and things just keep getting better! In episode 3, Amy is looking for a wardrobe change and seeking her best girlfriends' help.
Is Amy's make over meant to attract her next love interest after Sheldon? Perhaps someone who looks like Ryan Gosling?
In an interview with EOnline, Mayim Bialik, who plays neurophysicist Amy Farrah Fowler in the hit comedy series, dropped a few "Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoilers and what might transpire in episode 3.
"I'm asked a lot, who would I like Amy to go out with, and we actually have some very interesting stuff coming up in that arena," Bialik said.
"Some people think we should go super hunky, really against type from what Sheldon is and from what we think of Amy," the actress, who is a real-life neuroscientist continued.
"But part of me also feels like it's OK to keep it a little bit real in that someone like Amy probably would pursue someone-not that attractive people can't be intellectual-but pursue someone in her field, who generally speaking, might not be that concerned with appearance."
So, would Ryan Gosling (or at least a look-alike) be in the third episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9? Spoiler alert: No, he won't.
"I don't think we'll be seeing Ryan Gosling shirtless, or really anyone shirtless," Bialik said. "Everyone's shirts tend to stay on in Amy's world."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episde 3 follows Leonard and the boys during his bachelor party weekend in Mexico while Amy, who had just broken up with Sheldon, ends up getting her ears pierced instead of a wardrobe makeover.
"Also, the girls force Penny to finally tell her family that she eloped with Leonard, on 'The Big Bang Theory,'" the show's website revealed.
