Detoxing doesn't have to be expensive. If you want to rid your body of harmful toxins, know that there are natural ways of doing just that.

But why go through it in the first place?

Gaiam Life also stressed the importance of staying hydrated by drinking at least two quarts of water every day.

Beyond drinking healthy though, what you eat is also important when it comes to detoxing.

With this in mind, Pop Sugar recommended having a clean, whole and fresh diet.

"Stock your kitchen with fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, and grass-fed, organic proteins."

The website said natural food is richer in nutrients and don't have preservatives and chemicals unlike processed foods. This goes hand in hand with cutting down on junk such as refined carbs and sugar from your diet.

As part of the natural ways of detoxing, it's also important to be more active and have a positive outlook on life.
