Red Hot Chili Pepper, who celebrated the 31st anniversary launch of their debut album, is reportedly finally moving forward with the development of their new record.
Following a series of unfortunate events that include the arm injury of the American rock band's bassist, Flea.
Now Flea has assured fans that he's completely recovered from his arm injury and that he's back to doing "jamz" with his band members.
Flea took to his social media page to announce the good news.
"Well boys and girls, my busted arm has finally healed to the point where I can play bass proper again," Flea posted. "RHCP back to jamz again next week!!!"
Meanwhile, band drummer and Will Ferrell's doppleganger, Chad Smith, revealed that Red Hot Chili Peppers will definitely share "unique" and "very different" ideas in their new album.
"We've written and recorded in a way that we've never done before, so the record is going great," Smith told Rolling Stone. "We all have high hopes that it's going to take off and we're going to do something very different and unique for the Red Hot Chili Peppers."
In other news, former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, John Frusciante also had his share of unfortunate event.
Apparently, the musician's $30,000 worth 1996 Fender Telecaster guitar was stolen from him in his friend's house. However, fortunately, his stolen guitar was finally found and forwarded to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, SF Gate confirmed.
