NBA Trade Rumors: Pau Gasol Could Be Out Of Chicago Bulls?

| By

There is not much NBA trade rumors around involving big time players. Still don't be surprised if some marquee veterans find themselves in another.

Chicago Bulls power forward Paul Gasol could be one.

Fan site Blog A Bull suggested Chicago Bulls, who has just replaced coach Tom Thibodeau with Fred Hoiberg, should make massive changes in its squad and it should include Pau Gasol who arrived in the team last season.

Bulls are not involved in any official NBA trade deals lately and fans in the blog site think it is high time for them to join the wheeling and dealing.

"The Bulls would send Pau Gasol, Kirk Hinrich, Sacramento first round pick and the Bulls 2016 Second round pick. The Kings would send Willie Cauley-Stein and Darren Collison," the website wrote adding that this move will "set up Noah's long term replacement for the future."

It also argued that this NBA trade rumor will make more sense on the end of Sacramento Kings since Pau "is also that veteran locker room guy that the young and immature Kings core needs. They also secure back there top 10 protected draft pick and nab themselves a second."

This Pau Gasol NBA trade rumor will probably never materialize. The Spanish player and two-time NBA champion is coming off a successful FIBA EuroBasket where he steered his country to the championship and eventually win the Most Valuable Player Award.

He may have undergone sinus surgery this off-season but he insists he feels better and recharged now.

"It worked out really well; I'm breathing better," Gasol said. "I just had chronic sinusitis. The last two years I ... had different infections and it really was limiting me at times. I missed a game at Minnesota because of it last year. Now it's all better, it's all clearer in there. Hopefully, that will make a difference."

Does Chicago Bulls really need to involved in an NBA trade?

Remember that Derrick Rose is out indefinitely for orbital fracture, Taj Gibson could be on his way out while Mike Dunleavy will be sidelined for two months.
