Only two "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episodes have been aired so far but the ABC show is already brought out the big guns.
They revealed who killed Rebecca in the pilot but that is just the tip of of the ice berg. By the end of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode one titled "She's Dying," one more main character is soaking in blood. She is not dead yet but mind you, she's probably the most indispensable character.
Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is dying. Just when fans thought they saw the most shocking twist in last season's finale, the ABC TV series up the ante by shooting its main character. Who shot Annalise?
Aja Naomi King, who plays Michaela, don't know anything about the identity of the shooter yet but just like the audiences, she was shocked by this development. She even thought the season is going to end after just two seasons.
"When I first read this episode when Annalise had been shot, I was like, 'Wow they just really jumped in there,'" King said in an interview with Variety.
"I initially thought, 'Oh, I guess we're ending after two seasons, if they're trying to kill her off."
When asked if Annalise will live, King only warned to expect the unexpected.
"With these writers, I have no idea," she continued. "You never know. It's crazy. I cannot tell you the number of scenes we have shot where I have no clue what I'm talking about or what is going on so I'm very anxious to find out, along with everyone, else what is going to happen. Will she live? Who shot her? Was it one of us? How can we go forward if it was one of us?"
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode 3 is titled "It's Called the Octopus."
