Listen to your friends, Selena Gomez, 'cause they seem to know what's good for you.
Selena Gomez previously admitted that she had gone to rehab because she had "lost sight" of herself.
"I'm surrounded by people who are supposed to guide me and some of them have and others haven't," Gomez said during "We Day" Conference in Oakland, California. "They pressure me, (saying) 'You gotta be sexy, you gotta be cute, you gotta be nice, you gotta be all these things.'"
"Until recently, I had given into that pressure, I lost sight of who I was," the singer said.
While Gomez did not specify the reason for her submitting herself to rehab, some gossip sites believe it was due to her alcohol and drug abuse.
And it seems that Selena Gomez is heading for that spirally slope again as recent reports claim the "Good For You" singer has again taken up drinking and is becoming dependent on her anxiety medication.
Due to her busy schedule and on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber, Gomez' anxiety attacks have become so bad, she sometimes takes her meds beyond prescribed.
"Selena's panic attacks are crippling on some days. It's worse than ever before," an In Touch Magazine source said. "Sometimes it will happen every day for more than two weeks straight."
Because of this, Selena Gomez' friends have reportedly grown worried and are planning an intervention for the singer.
"She is careening towards rock bottom again. We are talking about having an intervention because Selena needs a reality check, and help fast," a source for In Touch Magazine recently said.
Previously, a Hollywood Life source said that prior to Selena Gomez' first stint in rehab also had a lot to do with her then-relationship with Justin Bieber.
"(She entered rehab for) various reasons - young adult issues, working too much, relationship issues," the source said. "Pressures of being with Justin and the people surrounding him. Clearly, look at what they're into!"
