Porsche Reacts To Lawsuit Filed By Paul Walker's Daughter! It's 'Reckless Driving' That Caused 'Furious 7' Star's Death

| By

It's almost two years since "Furious 7" star Paul Walker's tragic death.

But for his 16-year-old daughter, Meadow, the justice hasn't been served.

Two years following the fatal car crash, Meadow decided to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, stating that the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were using had "multiple design flaws," CNN reported.

"The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street," Meadow Walker's attorney, Jeff Milam, said in a statement. "And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas."

While Porsche's representative, Calvin Kim, had previously claimed that the company hasn't seen the lawsuit yet, ET Online reported that Porsche has already responded to the lawsuit filed by Paul Walker's daughter, insisting that the company is not liable for the death of the "Furious 7" star and his friend Roger Rodas, instead the death should be blamed due to "reckless driving and excessive speed."

"As we have said before, we are very sad whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities' reports in this case clearly establish that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed," the official statement said.

However, Meadow Walker's attorney is confident that the cause of death was due to the vehicle's lack of safety features.

"The vehicle lacked safety features that are found on well-designed racing cars or even Porsche's least expensive road cars -- features that could have prevented the accident or, at a minimum, allowed Paul Walker to survive the crash," the official lawsuit claimed by CNN stated.

Adding, "The Walker family, like the Rodas family, would not have to grieve their loss if Porsche hadn't put a faulty product on the road."

And while the lawsuit has been filed against Porsche alrady, Jeff Milam asked everyone to allow Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow to grieve in privacy as she is still a "teenage girl" who "values her privacy."

"It is with great reluctance that Meadow Walker has authorized the filing of this lawsuit on her own behalf and as heir to Paul Walker's estate," Jeff Milam, Meadow's lawyer, said in a statement to ET on Monday. "She's a teenage girl who is still dealing with the tragic loss of her father. She values her privacy and won't be making any comment. We ask everyone to respect that."
