Robeks Same-Store Sales Increase For 21 Straight Months

| By

Robeks same-store sales have increased for 21 consecutive months according to a press release on Restaurant News.

"We worked with our franchisees to learn more about our customers and what they are looking for," Robeks CEO Steve Davidson said in a statement. "Those insights combined with our market research led to the new menu, which has been a huge hit."

Through last month, the franchise smoothie chain's revenue was up nine percent compared to last year's numbers. The company has been helped by the addition of new items on its menu, and the nationwide unveiling of a drastically changed menu the press release reported.

These include reorganized categories such as performance, power, nature's best, and fan favorites.

Vegetable juices have been a huge contributor to the company's success after it expanded its juice menu to meet customers wants for more green vegetable juices. As a result, juice sales doubled throughout the nation, even tripling in some locations.

Robeks made several other upgrades to its menu such as adding smoothies with Greek yogurt. These have become popular with customers who want more protein and fewer carbohydrates. The company also introduced a tropi-kale smoothie, and various limited-time offerings like almond milk and date smoothies which have attracted more customers to Robeks.

The tropi-kale smoothie introduced customers to the green superfood, which resulted in becoming one of the company's top sellers. Robeks was one of the first franchise smoothie chain's to present the brazilian fruit acai, along with others, and was the first smoothie company to provide smoothies with Greek yogurt.

The company expects to introduce more innovations in the future. Robeks makes fresh, premium, and made to order smoothie products according to information on the company website.
