‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse’ Online Tournament Concluded, Second Instalment Leaked Online

| By

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" online tournament concluded a few days ago.

The online tournament was held for players from Japan, North America, Europe and Japan, and players in Australia may compete with North American players.

The elimination as set on Sept. 5 until Sept.12,while the finals concluded the event on Sept. 26. It is being said that the results will be posted on the official website and players may also view the battles through live-stream, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

However, as of this writing the game developer hasn't posted the winners of the tournament yet.

Winner of the tournament will not receive any amount of money. Instead, Bandai Namco will award the winner with "all seven dragon balls, a visible badge on their profile so that other players can see that they're incredibly powerful, and apparently, Bandai Namco will use the winning avatars for 'unique themes and backgrounds' for PlayStation consoles, immortalising your character forever," Push Square wrote.

Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" rumors surfaced online, but leaked details could be hoax.

In a screenshot leaked by Area Jugones which made its rounds online, revealed that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released in June 2016.

First, the comma between the month and year of its alleged release date was a "very unusual" practice when announcing release dates which now "raised doubts about the legitimacy of the screen-shot," IB Times reported.

Push Square added that an old logo of PS4 was used on the leaked image, given the fact that Sony has already changed it on previous firmware update.

And last, the alleged image could just be a fake constructed image as it was taken off-screen, and Christian Today suggest that it was done to hide poor quality of the image.

Bandai Namco was expected to announce the upcoming game at the TGS 2015, but the game developer didn't mention anything about the game.
