Fans of "The Hunger Games" cannot wait to see "Mockingjay Part 2," as a recent survey revealed that it is the "most anticipated film this fall."
Variety reported Fandago's poll results wherein "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" took the number one slot in the rosters of films that fans are looking forward to this season.
"Mockingjay Part 2" garnered about 514 of the vote from 1,000 polled moviegoers or 36 percent.
This was followed by James Bond movie, "Spectre" and the Ridley Scott and Matt Damon collab film, "The Martian" which got 26 percent and 11 percent votes respectively.
Aside from the fans' excitement, the news of "Mockingjay Part 2" being a real "war movie" can also be attributed to the film's placing in the survey.
"It's thematically very different," Director Francis Lawrence told MTV News. "'Mockingjay Part 1' was about the manipulation of media and propaganda, and this one is a real war movie,"
"Very quickly, we're getting out from the confines of District 13 and back out into the rest of Panem, including the Capitol. It's a very different kind of landscape," Lawrence explained.
Lawrence further assured that the fans' expectations will be met in the last installment of the worldwide phenomenon.
"And the end - I have to say, the end, there's something great about this," Lawrence said. "There's real closure. We're not ending with the promise of another movie, this is the final one. You feel it, and there's something satisfying about that. I think it's really emotional and moving."
The recent trailer for "Mockingjay Part 2" steered away from the usual action-packed trailers we often see from war movies.
Entitled "For Prim," the trailer showed a slow and poignant montage of Katniss Everdeen's (Jennifer Lawrence) and her sister Prim (Willow Shields).
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will premiere in U.S. theaters on November 20, 2015.
