Alfred Enoch's Wes Gibbins had the toughest time in the latest "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode and he made her professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) know about it through his shenanigans.
His girlfriend Rebecca is gone and up to now, he can't move on to the fact that she left him. What he does not know is that she is already dead and she was killed by someone he interacts with everyday. Only three persons know about Rebecca's demise - Annalise, Frank, and the killer herself Bonnie.
Annalise is doing everything to keep Wes out of Rebecca situation. While she succeeded initially as seen in the latest "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode, don't expect him to give it a rest.
"Wes definitely feels like he grew up a ton in the year that the show has happened unfolded," series co-creator Peter Nowalk said told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Everything he said in the kitchen is true: he wants to forget about Rebecca - she broke his heart and left him, as far as Wes is concerned, and he wants to be done with her. He thinks he got played. He did awful things for love. He was a romantic and got burned. He's now stronger and more mature and at the same time cynical and jaded person."
Annalise also better be careful, too, because her student is growing into someone as smart as her.
"He's more focused, and he's less naïve. I wouldn't say it's reckless, I think he's more Annalise - he's stronger, smarter and more worldly," Nowalk said in another interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 episode two, titled "She's Dying" will air on October. Read the episode guide below.
"Annalise and her team are blindsided when investigators try to pin a new charge on the wealthy siblings she's been hired to represent. Meanwhile, things for Annalise become even more difficult when she's brutally cross-examined on the witness stand during Nate's preliminary hearing."
