A few weeks ago, there were rumors that Miranda Lambert was upset that Blake Shelton is dating Gwen Stefani.
However, it seems that she had a change of heart because the 31-year-old songstress isn't bothered by her ex-husband's alleged romance with the No Doubt lead singer.
According to Hollywood Life, "The Voice" coaches are not officially dating but there's potential in their relationship since the 45-year-old rock star had also filed a divorce from her husband Gavin Rossdale. In case their friendship blooms into romance, the 2003 "Nashville Star" finalist already gives them her blessing.
"Miranda is still sad with the breakup and would wish that Blake would take his time moving on," their source revealed. "But she feels that Gwen is an amazing person, and if Blake is going to move on then she's glad that he would move on with an amazing mother and an amazing woman over some floozy!"
The website also reported that Blake Shelton's intention in getting close to Gwen Stefani was to make Miranda Lambert feel envious, but his plan didn't work.
"Blake can't help himself, he's a natural flirt and Gwen is adorable," their insider said.
"Part of him hopes that seeing him looking so fit and working so close with a knock out like Gwen makes Miranda jealous."
Since the "Little Red Wagon" singer didn't feel that way, then the 39-year-old country singer should start thinking of other ways to get his ex-wife's attention.
It is still unclear what his intention was for making Lambert jealous since they already filed for a divorce. However, his recent interview may have revealed his true feelings for his ex-wife. Despite the cheating scandals that came out, the former husband and wife are still in good terms.
"Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this. It is what it is," Shelton told Bobby Bones as reported by E! Online. "We're buddies."
His pal also claimed that the singer is single and is not in a rush to date another girl.
"I think he's open to another relationship in the future, but just not now," his friend told PEOPLE. "He's friendly with everyone, but he's not carrying on with women. He's taking time for himself right now."
Maybe Blake Shelton just wants to focus on building a friendship or maybe more with his ex-wife Miranda Lambert.
