After nine months of dating, Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender have finally decided to go on their separate ways.

And while any news of break up is sad, the 26-year-old Swedish actress reportedly did not take it too hard that she has moved on from it almost instantly.

Alicia Vikander appeared in public after the news about her breakup with Michael Fassbender leaked. But Alicia Vikander seemed totally fine, which got her fans wondering if something is going on between her and Armie Hammer.

As reported by Irish Independent, "Alicia Vikander isn't sitting at home crying into her ice cream after splitting with Michael Fassbender."

Additionally, Kpopstarz reported that is actually ready to "move on" with another guy named Armie Hammer.

"This means that Alicia Vikander is ready to move on, with Armie Hammer or with some other Hollywood stud that isn't Michael Fassbender," the publication claimed.

While the former couple have decided to remain tighlipped about the real status of their said relationship, Mirror confirmed the split claiming, "Us Weekly reports that the pair - who were last photographed together in May at the Monaco Grand Prix - have now called time on their relationship."

The reason behind their supposed breakup was never really discussed but there were rumors going as far as insinuating that it had something to do with their career choices.

Apparently, Alicia Vikander was supposed to star together with Michael Fassbender in "Assassin's Creed" movie. However, Vikander chose to star opposite Matt Damon in "Bourne" sequel instead.

"Alicia Vikander has now been set to star in the next instalment of the Jason Bourne saga opposite Matt Damon,Deadline can confirmed.

"She will not, however, be starring in Justin Kurzel's 'Assassins Creed' pic opposite Michael Fassbender."

In a separate report by Kpopstarz, the decision of Vikander reportedly caused tension to the couple, which eventually led to their breakup.

"Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, one of the most career driven couples in Hollywood, may be losing each other as 'Steve Jobs' movie gains momentum. To some, 'Steve Jobs' is one of the Oscar contenders for next year!" The article claimed.

Fassbender on the other hand is very busy with his upcoming movies including, "Macbeth", "Steve Jobs" and "Assassins' Creed," which caused him to spend less time with Vikander.

In a previous interview with Belfast Telegraph, Alicia Vikander admitted that she is having a hard time adjusting to living in the U.S. and she just try to keep herself busy to become "less lonely."

"I've been trying to do good work in a language that isn't my own. I guess that does make me determined, but it's in my nature to want to do the best that I can. It also makes me feel safe, in a funny way, if I'm working hard; less lonely, somehow."

Adding, "I suffer from a constant anxiety that what's happening to me isn't going to last forever," she sighed.
