Following her highly publicized and heartbreaking divorce with husband Jesse James, five years ago, many were glad when Sandra Bullock stepped out in public with her new boyfriend.
The 51-year-old Hollywood superstar is obviously very happy with her new found love and it reflected during her interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"Who says I have a new boyfriend?" she jokingly said. "Everything in my life is great right now."
However, despite the seemingly happy relationship, her new boyfriend is reportedly keeping a dark past with him.
According to Perez Hilton model/photographer Bryan Randall has a former drug addict with a number of felony charges. He reportedly also abandoned his daughter until his baby mama died of heroine overdose.
Radar Online added that this dark past has greatly concerned Sandra Bullock's friends and family, but apparently, Sandra Bullock is not at all bothered with the news, since she already new about it during their first meetings.
"Bryan was up front with Sandy as they got more serious, and told her everything that was scandalous in his past," an insider alleged. "He explained that he had to really grow up and become responsible to raise his daughter, Skyler, alone, and he insisted that all his trouble is in the past."
Despite Sandra wanting her friends and family not to worry about her new boyfriend, they still want to protect the "Gravity" star from getting her heart broken again.
"Sandy's friends are also concerned about Bryan's criminal past and allegations of drug and alcohol abuse," the insider added. "Even though he has told Sandy he is sober and has been for years, the friends are on their guard."
Despite his dark past, Perez Hilton reported that Bryan Randall has already "manned up" and has long been a responsible guy.
Sandra Bullock and her new boyfriend on the other hand, have remained tightlipped about the issue as they spend more time with each other.
According to People, the new couple has been spotted packing on PDA while dating at Craig's.
"He had his arm around her the entire meal," an insider eating at the same restaurant told People. "He was rubbing her arm, kissing her shoulder and at one point they cuddled up closer to look at something on her phone."'
