Marvel is very confident with the success of its first intergalactic superhero film that prior to release date, a second "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie has already been confirmed.
Lo and behold with Chris Pratt leading the team, "Guardians of the Galaxy" did indeed become a huge hit for Marvel, even breaking box office records.
And while fans will have to wait two more years before "GOTG 2" gets to hit theaters, production has reportedly started.
In his interview with Digital Spy, Chris Pratt, who plays the leader of the group, Star-Lord, shared some juicy information about the sequel's story.
"We've talked a little," Pratt revealed when asked if director James Gunn is already working on the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
And while he tried to keep the information undrewrap, the 36-year-old comedian/superhero/dinosaur trainer revealed that he already know the playlist in his "Walkman."
"I know some of the songs that are going to be on Awesome Mix Vol 2," Chris Pratt revealed.
He then teased how great the sequel will be, hinting that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is bound to be emotional.
"What I will say is that [Gunn's] pitch and his ideas legitimately put tears in my eyes. It is so good, it's so good. I can not wait to get started on it and I can not wait for people to see what he's going to pull off with this second movie."
Additionally, Chris Pratt revealed that Marvel executives have already read script and that everyone is confident with James Gunn's work.
"It's so big and so good," Pratt exclaimed.
"From what I understand, Marvel [heard Gunn's pitch] and they said nothing. [It] was that perfect. There was no micromanaging of the idea. They just love it so much they didn't have any notes for it. It's going to be remarkable."
