| By

Following the very successful launch of "Tekken 7" in arcades, the next big thing fans are expecting, is the game's PS4 and Xbox One release date.

However, E3, Gamescom and other electronic and gaming conferences have passed, still Bandai Namco has yet to announce a PS4 and Xbox One release date for "Tekken 7."

But before fans started losing hope that the classic fighting game will never hit new generation consoles, reports claim that the announcement of its release date will most likely going to happen at 2015 Tokyo Game Show, Kpopstarz reported.

Unfortunately, Bandai Namco has once again decided to skip on "Tekken 7," IGN noted.

And while there's no release date news yet, other details about the game have been made available.

Apparently, "Tekken 7" PS4 and Xbox One versions are bound to be "darker" according to director Katsuhiro Harado as reported by Attack of the Fanboy.

Furthermore, Bandai Namco is expected to bring new characters to the new generation consoles following its introduction from the arcade version.

Meanwhile, Silicon Era added that director Harada has no plans of slowing down when it comes to introducing new characters even before the gaming studio has yet to announce the release date for "Tekken 7."

"By the way, currently, we have four new characters, but later on we'll continue to add them through updates, so look forward to it," Harada confirmed. "We don't plan on reducing the number of characters, so yes, we're thinking of adding more."
