Chick-fil-A is offering a free breakfast entree.
According to the company's wesbite, the fast food chain is providing the item through its new "Breakfast on Us" promotion.
To take advantage of the deal customers need to reserve what breakfast entree they want, and select the time they plan to come in to retrieve it at their local Chick-fil-A between Sept. 9 and Sept. 14 online. Reservations need to be made by Sept. 13 or until they're filled, which means spots will go fast.
Chick-fil-A chief marketing officer Steve Robinson said the fast food restaurant chain sees the first meal of the day as a potential to grow the company.
"The breakfast day part continues to be a tremendous growth opportunity for Chick-fil-A. We have steadily focused on maximizing the breakfast day part with a variety of menu enhancements and promotions over the past several years, and we hope our 'Breakfast on Us' promotion will encourage our current customers to try something completely different and also help attract new breakfast customers for us."
Customers can chose from up to 10 breakfast entrees including the Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit, spicy chicken biscuit, sausage biscuit; Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis (three-count); chicken, egg and cheese bagel; bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, chicken breakfast burrito, sausage breakfast burrito, and an oatmeal or yogurt parfait the company said on its website.
The promotion is limited to one free breakfast entree per person throughout the redemption period. The availability of entrees may be different at each of the company's franchise locations. The company has over 1,735 restaurants in 39 states and Washington, D.C.
Last year, Chick-fil-A took in $4.6 billion in sales in 2012.
