Following an Emmy win, Amy Schumer posted a photo of Jennifer Lawrence's congratulatory surprise to her on Instagram.
The "Trainwreck" star has had an awesome night during the Emmy Awards 2015 show. After winning Best Sketch Comedy Series for "Inside Amy Schumer," the comedienne received a rather hilarious text from her new BFF, J-Law.
"Jennifer sent me a really sweet text," Schumer told ET. "She said that I looked pretty but not smart."
"She's the real deal funny," Schumer gushed. "My sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together so we're gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We're busy!"
During the Emmys, Schumer shared the stage with fellow funny girl Amy Poehler to present an award.
"What an exciting two-to-four hours for women in comedy!" Poehler exclaimed of the awards show.
"Let's not forget what tonight is really about," Schumer added. "Celebrating hilarious women, and letting the Internet weigh in on who looks worst,"
After the awards night and the awesome after-parties, surprises continue to arrive for the actress.
In her hotel room, a multitude of colorful balloons awaited Schumer which were sent by no less than Oscar Award winner, Jennifer Lawrence.
"Never tell Jennifer L your room number," Schumer posted photo of herself clutching her Emmys trophy and the balloons behind her.
Since going on that fun vacation together, riding jet skis and building human pyramids, Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence have become really good friends.
With almost the same interest in reality TV shows and the same sense of humor, the internet has been counting down the days until their movie project together comes out.
"We play sisters. We're almost done writing," Jennifer Lawrence previously said of their movie project together. "It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now.
"Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors," Lawrence added.
