Netflix released official photos of the "Jessica Jones" cast featuring Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss in character.

In three photos, Jessica Jones (Ritter) put on a serious face where she's seen with Trish Walker (Taylor) and Harper (Moss). Walker is a friend to the superhero-turned-detective. She's also a superhero in her own right as Hellcat.
Meanwhile, Zebediah Killgrave/The Purple Man (Tennant) and Luke Cage (Colter) each get their own photo. The former will be the show's villain with mind control powers while the latter is Jones' love interest. Cage aka Power Man is also set to appear in his own Netflix series.
"The characters all look like everyday people, even if some of them do have special abilities," DigitalTrends said.
But since the Krysten Ritter starrer was to follow in the footsteps of "Daredevil," "the normalcy shown is what was to be expected," according to the website.
The "Jessica Jones" Netflix cast photos follow a trailer launched last week. Apart from teasing the show, it revealed its Nov. 20 release date.
Marvel and Netflix latest collaboration is based on the "Alias" comic book series. It follows the titular character who decides to turn end her superhero career after tragic events. Jones becomes a private detective in New York City where she tackles cases involving people with superhuman abilities while battling her own demons.
Not much has been revealed about the series but this could change next month as New York Comic-Con. Deadline reported that Marvel will show off a "Jessica Jones" preview at the event on Oct. 10.
"The clip will run during a Saturday panel moderated by Jeph Loeb, Marvel's head of television and [the show's] exec producer."
The "Jessica Jones" Netflix cast will also be on hand to "answer questions and reveal secrets" of the show, per the NYCC website.
All 13 episodes of "Marvel's Jessica Jones" are set for a Nov. 20 release date on Netflix.
