Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL tipped to be cheaper than the iPhone 6s duo.
According to WMPU, SmartphoneFrance.info has revealed the latest details about the two upcoming flagship devices. Their sources said that the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be unveiled Oct. 06 event wherein pre-orders will roll out soon. Also, the website reported that the Lumia phones will be slightly cheaper than Apple's latest iPhone 6s duo.
The website added that the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be bundled with accessories wirth over $225, IB Times reported.
Winbeta added that the package might include Continuum dock and Wireless charger, while a wireless speaker might be in tow too.
The Continuum dock codenamed "Munchkin" has 3 USB ports (one likely USB-C), an HDMI and Displayport por. It is also equipped with port for an independent power supply to charge the devices.
Reportedly, sources from SmartphoneFrance.info who were able to get their hands on the Windows 10 based smartphones described them that they have a "premium feel" despite it is a polycarbonate made.
Moreover, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will run on Windows 10 Threshold 1, since Threshold 2 won't be ready until November, according to ZDNet.
Though they will be shipped with this build various patches and fixes were included for smooth user experience, NDTV reported.
As for the leaked specs, The "Cityman" as the larger variant will come in Matte White or black polycarbonate body and 5.7-inch WQHD (1440x2560) OLED display, Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Octa core paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 20MP PureView rear camera with triple LED flash and 5MP wide angle selfie snapper, 1mm silver ring inside the circumference of the black camera pod and 3300 mAh battery.
On the other hand, "Talkman" will sport a 5.2-inch WQHD (1440x2560) OLED display and an inferior processor of 64-bit Hexa core Snapdragon 808, The Verge reported.
Both phones are said to feature Iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello and biometric authentication, Qi wireless charging support and USB Type-C connector.
The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are expected to debut on Microsoft's Oct. 06 event as the Redmond tech giant hinted on its invites that Windows 10 devices are coming, this also might include the Surface Pro 4 and Fitband 2.
