It's no secret that not everyone is impressed that Ben Affleck will do justice as the new Dark Knight in Warner Bros. upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.
Time even made a write-up about why people hated Warner Bros. decision to cast Ben Affleck.
And while the 43-year-old actor is being plagued with criticisms, Henry Cavill, who plays the roles of Clark Kent a.k.a Superman has finally shared his thoughts about Affleck's performance as the new Caped Crusader.
"I'm sure he'll be fantastic above all else," Cavill told Total Film via Screen Rant.
It seems like Henry Cavill has nothing but good words to say for his would be adversary in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
"And as a filmmaker, he's got his own style, you know. He's not copying anyone else. And he's also sort of being tenacious in his career. He's had ups followed by downs and now he's very up again, and I think that requires and shows a very special strength of character. And it's something which I enjoy working with because jobs like this require strength of character, they require a dedication to the work and belief in oneself. And Ben has that, clearly."
And it's not only Henry Cavill who is confident of Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman, even Amy Adams, who plays the role of Lois Lane, expressed her support to Affleck.
"He is going to be his own unique thing. He's got a wonderful quality and a great body of work," Adams said of his co-star in an interview with Press Association. "I was only in one scene with him, I think I'm allowed to say that. So I didn't get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic."
Adams even claimed that she saw some parts of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" already, but she's restraint to giving out details of course.
"I can't wait to see it. Just the part I've seen looks really exciting," the 41-year-old star revealed.
Together with Amy Adams, "Batman vs Superman" also stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent aka Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne aka Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and many more.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
