Game developer confirmed that "Star Fox Zero" release date has been pushed back until 2016.
In a lengthy post shared on Facebook, producer Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that "Star Fox Zero" won't be arriving in November.
He then explained that the game is technically ready for its originally announced release date. However, it requires "further polishing" to deliver their desire gameplay, Tech Times reported.
he assured that the upcoming game will bring new game play and experiences to its players as their team members are "doing our best so that the final product will not betray your expectations."
"We have been developing Star Fox Zero for Wii U with the aim of releasing it this year,"
"Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes. While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing."
He continued, the game won't be delayed that long from its previously announced November 2015 release and it will arrive early 2016.
Meanwhile, at the recently concluded E3 2015 Ars Technica managed to get their hands on the game. They've found out that "Star Fox Zero" for the Wii U control system, "which requires players to use the TV for basic maneuvering and shooting, and the gamepad motion controls for precision shooting-was difficult to use, a complaint echoed by several other publications."
