Xbox One Elite controller release date has been listed by several retailers.
After its debut at the E3 2015, Microsoft hasn't revealed its release date yet. However, according to Microsoft's own online store the Xbox One Elite controller can be purchased on Oct. 27.
In addition, GameStop also listed the same release date on its website, The Verge reported.
Gamerant added that, pre-order of the Xbox One Elite controller has begun, and players who pre-ordered at the Microsoft Store by 2:00pm EST on Oct. 23 will get their hands on the controller ton Oct. 27. Interestingly, the Xbox One Elite controller coincides with the "Halo 5" release date.
According to Gamespot, the Xbox One Elite controller which being described by Xbox's Phil Spencer "an elite controller for the elite gamer" has interchangeable rear paddles and hair trigger locks for faster shooting. In addition, its trigger minimum and maximum values adjustable and features thumbstick sensitivity, and button assignments.
Meanwhile, in an interview with IGN, Xbox head Phil Spencer said that the Xbox One Elite controller is not necessary required for Xbox One owners, but rather an "something for the discerning customer who wants the very best we'll be able to offer, and I want to give them that opportunity."
"If you're really happy [with your Xbox One console] you should go try [Xbox Elite], but it really wasn't meant to try and flip you from the setup you have now. It will be faster, but I don't know it would be fast enough to say that you'd want to go off and spend hundreds of dollars to do that," he added.
