Could The Corrs’ New Album Have A Collab? U2’s Bono Got A Sneak Peek Of ‘Special’ Song! [VIDEO]

Following the recent trend of '90s boybands and artists coming back for a reunion tour, Irish band The Corrs' new album will also come out later this year, a decade after their last one, "Angel."

Not only will they be coming back with new music, they will reportedly be showing off their more matured looks as well, according to Mirror. The siblings, who are now in their 40s and 50s, are reportedly planning to return in style in January next year.

However, it seems that Andrea (41), Sharon (45), Caroline (42) and Jim (50) already gave someone an exclusive listen to their highly-anticipated album. It's not just anybody though. They reportedly gave a fellow Irish singer a sneak peek of their new music.

U2's frontman, Bono, recently revealed to Irish Times that he was able to listen to one song off The Corrs' new album and it seems to be an 'special' track as well.

Referring to a former song he had written with the legendary Johnny Cash with the same title, he shared that he heard another unreleased track with the same theme recently.

He told the site that he "had just heard a song called 'Ellis Island' from The Corrs' new album. They just played it for me. It is a really, really special song."

Ellis Island, located north of New York, was the US' immigration inspection station from 1892 to 1954. 12 million people reportedly died in the area during that time.

Why did The Corrs play the song to Bono? Did they just ask for feedback or could they have present it to him for a possible collaboration?

A duet between the two famous Irish musicians wouldn't be unheard of. They have, in fact, sang together in the past.

Aside from The Corrs' new album, the group also announced a tour as well, following their successful reunion performance at BBC's Live in Hyde Park last Sunday.

The group will reportedly tour the UK following their record's release. "White Light" will reportedly be released on Nov. 27 and is already available for pre-order here.
