September is almost over yet Frank Ocean has still haven't released his supposed new album.
Previously teased to be released in July, the "Bad Religion" singer has failed to provide any explanation as to why this did not happen.
In fact the famous balladeer has yet to be seen in public for a while, he remained silent even in his social media account.
Thus, fans immediately started to worry about Frank Ocean's real condition and why he hasn't release his new album yet.
According to The Verge, perhaps there might be something wrong with Ocean's new album or even the singer himself is in trouble.
"As may already be obvious to you, it is no longer July," the report stated. "It is also no longer the month after July. It is, in fact, September, and people are starting to get worried about the location and well-being of Mr. Ocean."
This speculation was further fueled when Frank Ocean decided to withdraw his performance in FYF, where Kanye West reportedly took over.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Frank Ocean's representative released an official apology and explanation as to why the "Bad Religion" hitmaker neede to bail out.
"We're really sorry that due to a scheduling conflict beyond our control, Frank Ocean is not going to be able to appear at FYF Festival as planned," the publicist said. "Frank had really been looking forward to the performance and to seeing all of his fans, so it is with great regret that we announce this cancellation."
While Frank Ocean has failed to she light to the delay of his new album, The Fader reported that there are actually a number of artists who collaborated with him and among them are Hit-Boy and Rodney Jenkins.
Furthermore, Bet added that pianist Christophe Chassol also worked with Ocean together with Rick Rubin back in Abbey Road, where Ocean did all the recording.
"Ocean invited me to Abbey Road to record on his album," Chassol revealed. "I asked him how he heard about me. He told me his friend Diplo was listening a lot to [my album] Indiamore, and they started to listen to it, and they were wondering how I was doing the speech harmonization, so he called me. He asked me to do some speech harmonization on a song with him."
So where is the new album? What's more important is where is Frank Ocean?
