Richard Madden and Cara Delevingne's Twitter feud started when the "Game Of Thrones" star reportedly called her "unprofessional" and "ungrateful" for her infamous interview last July.
"It was unprofessional," he reportedly told the London Times' Style magazine (via People) about the "Paper Towns" star's "Good Morning Sacramento" interview.
"It made her seem ungrateful," he continued. "She showed her age. For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions. If you're not capable of doing that gracefully, then don't do it."
A couple of days later, the quote made the headlines on several media outlets. According to the LA Times, this apparently angered the model enough to call him out on Twitter, without clearing out the issue privately.
"I have no idea who you are but I think it's little desperate for a grown man to be bad mouthing someone they don't know," she posted, adding, "if you really want attention that badly, try focusing on your own work and not other people's."
Madden didn't take the online beating lying down either, but his response didn't have the same bite as Delevingne and even apologized to the model-actress for the misunderstanding.
"Hi @Caradelevingne, nothing but respect for you. Misquoted and blown out of proportion. #SlowNewsWeek," he responded.
Richard Madden and Cara Delevingne's Twitter feud seemed to have been resolved when the latter thanked Madden for "clearing that up!"
"I should have realized x," she added.
Although the supposed online conflict ended between the two stars, Madden's fans on Twitter found find Delevingne's last tweet lacking an apology.
"She won't apologize cause she has the mature level the size of an ant," one follower noted, while another praised Madden for being a gentlemen.
On the other hand, a Delevingne fan told Madden not to judge anyone without knowing about the situation first.
With the air somewhat cleared up between them, it seems that Richard Madden and Cara Delevingne's Twitter feud has now evolved to fan wars.
