"Outlander" season 2 air date is supposed to be airing right now. That is if fans will base everything on the date the hit Starz TV series premiered last year.
Executive producer Ron Moore has teased "Outlander" season 2 air date in a Twitter Q&A he held a few days ago. However, that might not be a good news for many.
When asked about the show's return date, Moore only said that "date hasn't been set officially. Look for March/April".
"Outlander" which is based on a time travel novel series by Diana Gabaldon, debut on August 9 last year and lasted for 16 episodes.
"Outlander" season 2 air date was not the only one brought up during Moore's Twitter Q&A. A fan also asked about the casting of one of novel's main characters Roger. He hinted Roger might really come and they will share details "once we really cast him."
Last month's "Outlander" season 2 casting news teased the arrival of one of the most important characters in the lives of Claire (Caitrona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan). Brianna, their daughter has been added to the show but with a twist.
"We have a feeling there's about to be a run on red hair dye in Hollywood. At long last, Outlander has issued a casting call for Brianna, which TVLine has exclusively obtained. And if you don't want to be spoiled about what's ahead on the Starz series, get yerself outta this wee post now," TV Line reported last month.
The site added that the actress being searched is someone who is in his 20s. That is pretty old since in the show, Claire and Jamie are only in their thirties.
"The official character description describes Brianna as a young 20-something American who's "strong-minded, intelligent beyond her years with an effortless charm and sparkling sense of humor (traits inherited from both her mother and father," TV Line further wrote.
"She also has a scholastic mindset, with a healthy dose of American strength, having been born and bred in Boston under the watchful eye of professor and historian Frank Randall."
