It's not a secret that like their male counterparts, Australian actresses are also making quite a splash in Hollywood.
Nicole Kidman isn't the only actress from Down Under who captured people's attention her acting talent.
According to Popsugar, these actresses have earned a special place in Hollywood "proven by their multiple awards and nominations, and the big roles they continue to score."
The list of Aussie stars who have become quite at home in the Hollywood limelight (aide from Kidman) include Margot Robbie. She is best known for joining the cast of "Wolf Of Wall Street," "12 Years A Slave," and most recently, "Suicide Squad."
Isla Fisher is also an Aussie worth noting. She initially gained popularity after starring as the lead in "Confessions Of A Shopaholic." She also appeared in "Wedding Crashers," "Great Gatsby," and "Now You See Me."
Of course "Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson can't be ignored. She gained attention when she saw the charming cast of "Bridesmaids" in 2011. She was also notable in "Pitcher Perfect 2." She also reportedly "created, wrote and produced her own sitcom, 'Super Fun Night.'"
Another notable star is Rose Byrne who was also in "Bridesmaids." She was also in "X-Men First Class" and "The Intership."
And of course, who could forget Cate Blanchet, who dominated movie screens in "The Lord Of The Rings," "Elizabeth," and most recently, Disney's "Cinderella." His role in "Blue Jasmine," on the other hand, helped him get an Oscar award.
