"Bachelor" contestant Gia Allemand was laid to rest Thursday as new details about her death surface, TMZ reported.
Allemand's boyfriend, NBA basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans, Ryan Anderson, attended the service, and was welcomed by Gia's family TMZ reported.
"I'm deeply grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends and fans," Anderson said in a statement according to E! Online. "Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile."
Anderson reportedly got into a fight after Allemand died at the age of 29. According to TMZ, Anderson reportedly told Allemand he didn't love her anymore. Allemand then told Anderson she still loved him TMZ reported.
According to E! Online, Anderson found Allemand unconscious in her New Orleans home Aug. 12 after she reportedly hanged herself with a vacuum cord. Allemand was then put on life support, which she was later taken off of because she was experiencing critical losses in her brain and organ function E! Online reported.
The vacuum cord was wrapped around Allemand's neck, and the actress was sitting on some stairs according to the death report, TMZ reported. Allemand reportedly accused Anderson of being unfaithful according to what Anderson told investigators E! Online reported.
Allemand's former "Bachelor" co-stars and family and friends were present for the service including Craig Robinson, and Graham Bunn TMZ reported. Anderson was seen hugging Allemand's mother Donna Micheletti.
The funeral was held at Trinity Grace Church in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood according to E! Online.
