Previous "Grimm" season 5 spoilers indicate that Nick (David Giuntoli) will be blinded by his need for revenge after losing both his girlfriend and mother to the royals. What could possibly change his mind?
According to Zap2It's synopsis of the upcoming season, his duties as a father to his soon-to-be-born baby boy would somewhat quell his need for vengeance.
"Season 5 will pick up with Nick coping with the death of his former love Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) and the return of Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez)," the article noted. "He also has to deal with being a single father - yup, Adalind (Claire Coffee) is definitely having Nick's baby."
Giuntoli previously revealed that the baby will be "the reason for him to keep going" after losing almost everyone he loves. However, the birth of his son will also bring a former enemy into their circle.
Adalind, who somehow became good in season four to help the gang get rid of Juliette's new Hexenbiest powers, will reportedly be sticking around Nick according to Claire Coffee's own "Grimm" season 5 spoilers.
She finally has a second chance to become a mother and she will be making the most out of it, even if she doesn't have her powers anymore.
"She's now having this other child with Nick and sticking around Portland, she's really finally is like, 'Wait, this is all I've got in the world and now I really have to make it work. I have no dungeons to distract me, no Royal family to be aligning myself with,'" the actress previously told Screen Junkies.
Would a romance possibly happen between the former enemies?
On the other hand, Coffee intimated that her character might not be open for romance this Fall.
"No romantic exploits have ended anything other than horribly for her so far. So if there were any, hopefully they would be slow going," she said.
If a Nick-Adalind romance is possible for the future, it doesn't seem to be any time this season. However, based on the "Grimm" season 5 spoilers revealed, their son might just help them grow closer together (or at least become more tolerant of each other).
