Scarlet Witch To Take Which Side Of 'Captain America: Civil War' Teams? Elizabeth Olsen Spilled The Beans

| By

Marvel has reportedly announced the "Captain America: Civil War" teams according to KpopStarz.

And while Iron Man and Captain America have their team members lined up already, it seemed like Scarlet Witch has yet to choose a side between these two clashing superhero teams.

After Marvel has failed to reveal which side Scarlet Witch is taking, many speculated that it's only natural for Elizabeth Olsen's character to side on Captain America since in the latest "Avengers" movie her character was blaming Iron Man for the death of her parents.

And while that's pretty obvious, Elizabeth Olsen revealed something really interesting about her character, which may answer why Marvel has opted not to include Scarlet Witch in any of the "Captain America: Civil War" teams.

Talking to Comic Book Resources, Olsen dished out that there's a reason why Scarlet Witch was not affiliated with either Captain America or Iron Man.

"She's okay," Olsen answered when asked how Scarlet Witch is doing following the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

And when asked about how is Scarlet Witch taking the faction between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, Olsen explained that being new in the team, "she's confused and conflicted."

"She's doing alright. She's confused, she's conflicted. She's found some people she thinks she connects with, but she's doing alright. They released images of Team Cap and Team Iron Man. She wasn't there. She's always the wild card. I like being the wild card."

And in a separate interview with Premiere, the 26-year-old actress promised that "Captain America: Civil War" will be the best in the franchise given all these dividing teams of the superheroes.

"I think [Captain America: Civil War is] going to be the best one. For real, I am very excited to see it myself," Olsen teased. "I only worked on set for five weeks. So I wasn't there for the majority of it."

Meanwhile, she was also able to spill the beans on the movie's new villain.

"[Daniel] Brühl is an incredible actor and he's playing the main villain in it," she revealed. "And he's incredible! It's a movie about people as opposed to robots this time. So it's darker and it's allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines."

"Captain America: Civil War" teams comprises of Team Captain America and Team Iron Man called Anti-Registration and Pro-Registration respectively.

Under Steve Rogers aka Captain America (Chris Evans) are Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Sharon Carter aka Agent 13, Sam Wilson aka Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).

Tony Stark aka Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.) team on the other hand will comprise of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), James Rhodes aka War Machine (Don Cheadle), T'Challa aka Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vision.

While Elizabeth Olsen has shed light on her character, which "Captain America: Civil War" teams Spider-Man will side remains to be a mystery.

"Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
