"Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" release date confirmed to be on Nov. 10 for Mac OS and Windows PC only.
It was announced at the "StarCraft II" World Championship Series Season 3 Finals held in Krakow, Poland. Also, its opening cinematic was previewed at the event.
"Legacy of the Void provides an epic conclusion to a story more than 17 years in the making," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment as cited by Market Watch.
"It also brings tremendous enhancements to StarCraft II's definitive real-time strategy gameplay, with new units, automated tournaments, collaborative game modes, and more. We can't wait for players to experience it all this November."
According to IGN, pre-order has began to roll out which will be available in three editions: Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition.
The Standard edition which will be available in physical and digital versions starts at $39.99, while the Digital Edition is priced at $60. This pack includes an "access to a variety of Blizzard in-game bonuses which are available upon Legacy of the Void's release."
It also features Archon battle pet ready to join your side in World of Warcraft; Void Seeker mount to charge through the Nexus in Heroes of the Storm; Protoss card back to demonstrate your psionic potential in Hearthstone and Protoss-themed portraits and unit skin for StarCraft 2, according to Blizzard.
On the other hand, "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" Collector's Edition has a hefty price of $80 when released on Nov. 10.
It features all the aforementioned features, and a special edition of the colorful hardcover "StarCraft" Field Manual, a DVD loaded with cinematics and special features, and a CD soundtrack.
