2016 Early Oscar Predictions Best Actor: From Leonardo DiCaprio To Eddie Redmayne!

There are several possible repeat nominees in the 2016 early Oscar predictions for Best Actor.

With the film festivals already screening films that could potentially catch the attention of the Academy, it's not surprising for media outlets and blogs to give their opinions as to which actors could possibly become candidates for the Oscar Awards' best actor category.

According to the Awards Circuit, the top five predicted nominees include Leonardo DiCaprio for "The Revenant," Michael Fassbender for "Steve Jobs," last year's winner Eddie Redmayne for "The Danish Girl," Tom Hanks for "Bridge Of Spies," and Johnny Depp for "Black Mass."

Michael Caine for "Youth," "Robert Redford" for "Truth," Tom Courtenay for "45 Years," Bryan Cranson for "Trumbo," and Brad Pitt for "By The Sea" were also mentioned as possible contenders for the nomination.

There were several other talented actors mentioned as strong contenders like Tom Hiddleston, Will Smith, Colin Firth, Ian McKellan, Matt Damon, Bradley Cooper, and Jake Gyllenhaal. However, only five of them will be called as nominees in the 2016 Oscar Awards.
