Gil Grissom (William Petersen) and Sarah Sidle (Jorja Fox) reunite in the new "CSI" finale trailer! Will fans finally know what happened to the couple?
According to the TVLine, the two-hour finale promises to tie any loose ends of the longest-running crime show. Of course, one of the biggest ambiguous story arc in the series is Grissom and Sidle's romance.
Their love story seemingly concluded when they meet each other in Costa Rica in season 9. However, Sarah came back to the show as a recurring character in later episodes. She became a regular character in the last couple of episodes.
Her return brought questions of what happened between the two of them that made Sarah come back to the department. She didn't exactly clear up what really happened to their romance.
In the "CSI" finale trailer, however, Sarah finally shares what she really feels for Grissom - to Lady Heather (Melinda Clarke) no less.
"Do you love him?" the dominatrix asked her, to which she replied, "Yes," without any hesitation.
The confession, coupled with shots of Grissom and Sarah looking longingly at each other, could give die-hard fans hope that their story would be one of the loose ends being tied up in the finale.
Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) and D.B. Russell (Ted Danson), as well as the rest of the team, assemble for a case that has "everyone on deck."
Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody) and Wallace Langham (David Hodges), Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), David Berman (David Phillips), Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins), and Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) will be coming back for the series finale.
Unfortunately, George Eads (Nick Stokes) and Elizabeth Shue (Julie Finlay) won't be coming back for the last time.
Meanwhile, Channel 5 announced a "CSI" Night special which would show the most popular episodes in the series' 15-year run.
