"Empire" season 2 spoilers are dominated by news of who the new guest stars will be.
There are too many names that will join the hi Fox musical drama, all of them famous and accomplished in their own rights.
Who among the new guest stars/characters should fans feel excited about? If it is lead star Taraji P. Henson who will be asked, there is no other else but the latest addition.
Recent "Empire" season 2 spoilers revealed Vivica A. Fox has joined the show for an intriguing role, and this has Henson gushing.
"I'm very excited about that," Cookie Lyon told Entertainment Weekly when asked about thew arrival o f the "Kill Bill" star.
"I mean, I watched Vivica before I even got into the business. And she's always been one that I've looked up to, like, 'God, I want to be able to do what she does.' So, to be able to work with the person who you've admired for so long, it's just mind-blowing."
Vivica joining "Empire" TV series was first reported by Entertainment Weekly. The report said the veteran actress will play as Cookie Lyon's sister. As said by series creator Lee Daniels, Cookie's family is a little troublesome. So, that's twice the fun in the second season.
"The world of Empire keeps getting bigger! EW has exclusively learned that Kill Bill star Vivica A. Fox will be appearing on season 2 of the Fox hit as the oldest sister of Cookie," Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Fox's character comes to Empire in search of her younger sis for reasons unknown."
Viveca Fox will join a constellation of stars for "Empire" season 2. The line up includes Alicia Fox, Lenny Kravitz, Becky G, Common, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Chris Rock, Mariah Carey, and more.
In earlier "Empire" season 2 spoiler, showrruner Ilene Chaiken said Marissa Tomei's character is one of those fans should watch out for.
"Marisa Tomei is a perfect example," she told TV Line last month.
"That was a story we were telling, and the first script was already written, and the character was already developed when we cast Marisa. Of course Marisa is a very, very big get, and she's so good, but it's entirely driven by story."
"Empire" season 2 release date is Sept. 23.
