Bruce Jenner played the role of peacekeeper between wife, Kris Jenner and mom Ester during Sunday's episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" according to Us Weekly.
"The last time she came to my home, I made her dinner, I made her brownies, I made her pasta, my favorite soup, I put flowers in her room. I made her feel like a princess," Kris said, according to Us Weekly. "She doesn't even like me. Why would I go visit somebody who can't stand me?"
According to Us Weekly, Kris, 57, has never had a positive relations with Bruce's mother. On the episode, Bruce asks Kris to join him in Iowa for his mother's 87th birthday.
"It's kind of awkward. There's no eye contact," Kris said on the show.
When Esther arrived at their home, Kris said "I just hope she can relax a little bit, loosen up and realize that I'm not the enemy."
When Bruce picks up Esther from her hotel, he brings her to Kris so the two can sit down to deeply reflect on the situation together after the two were quiet at dinner the night before Us Weekly reported.
"We haven't been too close in any way," Esther said on the episode as reported by Us Weekly. "I'm so sorry for that."
"It was very complicated I think," Kris responded. "Just a lot of personalities in the mix and stuff going on."
"I have felt like I should stay away, stay out of the picture, and I have," Esther said. "But it's not right." After adding that Bruce's marriage to Kris (his third) is "the longest marriage he has had. You've been good for him and I think he's been good for you."
