Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) finds himself in yet another revenge-seeking trouble from former vampire friends just as he cut ties with his family and allies in the new "The Originals" season 3 trailer!
TVLine found it an ironic twist that the first vampires that the Mikaelsons created would come back and seek vengeance just as Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebecca (Claire Holt / Maisie Richardson-Sellers) decided to cut friendly ties with their brother.
Even Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), the mother of his daughter, won't be forgiving him anytime soon for allowing his power-hungry aunt to put her under the Crescent Curse.
According to previous spoilers, the menacing hybrid will be dealing with problems from his sire line, led by the very first vampire he turned. Will his family change their minds and rally behind Klaus once again?
In "The Originals" season 3 trailer revealed, Klaus or "the thing that mean fear" can be seen having an emotional breakdown. Meanwhile, Elijah also seemed scared by the impending arrival of the sire line leaders and Hayley looked pissed off as she temporarily turns into a human.
Freya's chilling words ("You will all fall"), Davina's bleeding eyes, and Cami's very concerned stare are also worth noting in the clip.
Past spoilers revealed that the first vampires ever turned, The Trinity, will be dropping by New Orleans and will be setting their sights on the Mikaelsons. Why they have a deep-set grudge against the Originals, however, is yet to be disclosed.
Meanwhile, Joseph Morgan promoted the new season on Twitter.
"Season 3 #TheOriginals is without a shadow of a doubt the the most dynamic, gripping and intoxicating season yet. #BloodTearsAndBetrayal," he posted.
A lot of blood can certainly be seen in the new teaser video.
As if to validate his hashtag, the "Vampire King" also shared a photo of himself and Daniel Gillies all bloody and battered up, captioning it, "#harddaysnight@mr.danielgillies and me."
