Where is Limp Bizkit's new album?

That's the question fans of the American nu metal band are asking after Limp Bizkit previously teased that they're working on a new record.

In January, the band has teased on their Facebook account that the new album is actually in its final stages.

Eight months later, the new album has yet to be released, thus fans are starting to worry that there will be no Limp Bizkit new album.

To calm fans down, guitarist Wes Borland has offered an explanation in an interview with Team Rock.

Apparently, the band's frontman, Fred Durst is still doing some fixing on some of the vocal tracks, which caused the delay of the new album.

"Fred [Durst] has been working on vocals in his home studio nonstop for months and months," Borland explained. "He's told me that he's almost finished, but I don't know what amount of the 28 songs has been finished. I know that he re-records and trashes vocals all the time."

Adding, "I don't know, I think he's in a mode where he's liking something that he's doing and not liking other stuff," he added. "But I think he's just now starting to feel a lot more confident in what he's putting in the songs."

And while the release date to Limp Bizkit's new album may come as a surprise, Wes Borland shared details as to what fans should expect of their new album.

"To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session," the Limp Bizkit guitarist said. "I mean, we've gone into five different studios now. I think we're up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs."
