Chris Brown is one happy father to his daughter, Royalty and he's not afraid to show it! After being granted joint custody with Nia Guzman, the proud singer shares a precious moment with his one-year-old daughter
After a long-winded feud with his baby mama, Chris Brown finally got what he has been fighting for - a 50/50 custody of Royalty, which entitles him to legally spend time with her every four days.
In the video uploaded by Hollywood Life, the singer happily takes Royalty from his mom's arms and locks her in an embrace. Chris Brown then makes funny faces in an attempt to make his daughter laugh.
"What's up? All that hair!" Brown said in admiration, then brushing off Royalty's hair off her face.
Chris Brown's battle for joint custody over his daughter came to a happy end after a judge favored the singer's request for joint custody over Nia Guzman's request to full custody of Royalty as well as supervised visitation rights for the R&B singer.
Prior to that, Guzman reportedly demanded $15,000 per month in child support from the "Body On Me" singer, which sparked their months-long feud.
In a previous Twitter rant by Brown, he opened up about his baby mama using Royalty as a "meal ticket."
"Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers," Brown tweeted on Aug. 6. "I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets. Using a child as leverage is never okay,"
On the other hand, a source close to Guzman previously said that she only wanted what's best for Royalty, adding that Brown should spend less on luxury cars and more on their daughter.
"Nia just wants her daughter to be set for life and doesn't think she's being unrealistic in what she wants from him monetarily," a Hollywood Life source said.
