Actress Lisa Kudrow believed the rumors about a "Friends" reunion airing for Thanksgiving were true according to Yahoo.
Kudrow told late night talk show host Conan O'Brien she was drawn in by what she read about in the news.
"Okay, first of all. The graphic for this one thing was unbelievable. It looked really real," Kudrow told O'Brien according to Yahoo TV. "And then they were posting this article and the headline was like, 'NBC Confirms 5 out of 6 of the Friends Are In,' and I went, 'Oh my God. They didn't ask me.'"
Kudrow also told O'Brien she doesn't feel good about letting fans down, but shouldn't be blamed for what she was led to believe, and later took back after NBC told Wrap.com the rumors were not accurate.
Starmedia originally reported the rumors were true according to journalism website upi.com.
"I honestly just feel really bad just by saying, 'And that was actually never something that was ever going to happen,'" she said. "You're disappointing them. And people got mad at me recently because I had said, 'No, no. That's never going to happen.' They were angry, like I'm the one who shut it down."
Kudow played Phoebe Buffay on the popular NBC television series for 10 seasons. The show went off the air in 2004.
In April, "Friends" co-creator Marta Kaufman told E! Online a reunion is "not happening." Kaufman also said there also will not be a movie reunion either.
"'Friends' was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore," she said.
