While fans are excitingly waiting for NeatherRealm to finally announce the release date of "Injustice 2," new reports claim the possible characters lined up for the upcoming game.
Apparenlty, the second installment of "Injustice" will bring in DC characters including Captain Atom, Vixen and Black Canary.
Additionally, Kdramastars said that "Injustice 2" will also add Red Hood and Amazo as new characters in the roster.
However, such claims should be taken with a grain of salt as NeatherRealm has yet to release an official lineup for the upcoming game.
Meanwhile, Den of Geek has listed their top 10 characters in "Injustice 2," which include Static, Poison Ivy, The Shade, Supergirl, Bleez, Red Hood, Captain Cold, Booster Gold and Amazo.
It even mentioned Evil Batman as one of the characters the publication wants to see in "Injustice 2" come its release date.
In line with the list of characters, there are reports as to when the release date of the game will be.
Unfortunately, there will be no "Injustice 2" coming this year.
However, Attack of the Fanboy speculated that NetherRealm may coincide the release date of "Injustice 2" with Warner Bros. upcoming "Batman V Superman" movie.
"There is no doubt that a sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us would sell well regardless of when it releases, but with there certainly being no tie-in game to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it would make absolute sense to release Injustice 2 next March or April," the publication stated.
Adding, "This would put it out either right before or right after in a slot that NetherRealm loves, with Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Mortal Kombat X all releasing in the same time period."
Meanwhile, iDigital Times reported that NetherRealm president Ed Boon teased fans of "Injustice 2" release date on Twitter.
"@Official_AIAS @noobde :( Hope you can make it next year! EB: Absolutely! ......unless we ship a game in April 2016 ;)," he tweeted.
