George Clooney and Sandra Bullock reunited in their new movie "Our Brand Is Crisis." While filming, the two actors seem to have had an awkward sort of deal - for George Clooney to give the audience a little butt action for his female co-star.
In a recent interview for the said movie, Sandra Bullock revealed George Clooney volunteered to be her "butt double."
"George is a lot less hairy down there," Bullock jokes in an interview with Fox News. "Baby bottom, versus what I've got down there, which is a Chia Pet."
Exactly how George Clooney ended up to be Sandra Bullock's "butt double" in the movie came from the vision for the film itself, which was originally written for a man to play as the lead role until Bullock suggested to change the protagonist to a woman.
"The character is basically the same, other than the sex," Bullock said of the movie, adding that it was a role her male co-star "could have played or maybe I could have played it better,"
Meanwhile, George Clooney lauded Sandra Bullock's suggestion to switch up the roles and said it should happen more in other Hollywood productions.
"You'll see this happening a lot, where they talk about there aren't a lot of great roles for women," Clooney said to Entertainment Tonight.
"The truth of the matter is there are plenty of these films where you can stop and look and just change the gender and make a really interesting film. So we need to start thinking that way," he added.
"Our Brand Is Crisis" follows the story of a political strategist who tries to run an American-style presidential campaign in a Bolivian election. It was directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Warner Bros.
It made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival Friday, Sept. 11 and will be released in U.S. cinemas on Oct. 30.
