Could Austin Mahone's new girlfriend be revealed just a few weeks after he officially announced his breakup with Becky G? According to J-14, that might just be the case.
Earlier this week, the entertainment site reported that the "Dirty Work" singer publicly flirted with an up and coming singer on Instagram recently. He even serenaded her on the photo sharing app!
Brie Angellina posted a clip of herself singing Frank Ocean's "Thinking Bout You" during Labor Day and it got noticed by the 19-year-old teen sensation.
According to her MTV biography, she appeared in Austin Mahone’s video, “Say Something,” and has gained popularity as a singer thanks to Youtube.
"The only thing I'm looking at is my hair stuck on my lashes..... anyway happy #laborday and #MusicMonday here's a quick #cover of @frankoceanmusic #ThinkingAboutYou," she posted along with the video.
Mahone took a snippet of himself singing the same song and uploaded it to his page with a flirty caption.
"Right back at you," he captioned the post, tagging the singer from South Florida as well.
Could the singer be Austin Mahone's next girlfriend?
According to Fashion & Style, Mahone already has the approval of the pretty brunette's mother.
"Now that's what's up!!!!!" she excitedly replied to the "Mmm Yeah" singer's post on the microblogging site. Her daughter promptly responded, "LOL mom."
It seems that Becky G's previous diss at her "replacement" had some basis despite her insistence that "it ain't who you think it is."
The "Shower" singer posted a meme about getting replaced a couple of weeks ago and fans interpreted it as a diss to Austin Mahone's new girlfriend. She was quick to deny the speculations, however, following the post up with a selfie of herself with a raised eyebrow.
Sources reported that the former flames were still friends and only decided to break things off because they couldn't see each as often as they could.
