Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" is expected to be an average game.
However, it seems like the gaming studio has impressively surprised gamers when the gameplay was released.
Ahead of its release date on Oct. 23, 2015, Ubisoft not only compared the new game to "Assassin's Creed: Unity," it also promised gamers a better and improved gaming experience.
3News reported that Ubisoft may have finally found the answer to the franchise's problems when the demo was released in public at E3 2015.
"Assassin's Creed Syndicate feels like a better play overall. I was actually shocked that the E3 demo featured a chase sequence that relied on quick graphics and sharp maneuverability," the publication claimed.
And to further bring better gaming experience to players, Ubisoft reportedly intentionally delayed the release date of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" PC version "a bit later in the fall."
"We've got an internal team that's dedicated to the PC version, and one of the things that I'm happy about is that we're really taking our time with the PC version to really make it shine," Creative Director Marc-Alexis Côté told PC Gamer at E3. "We want the game to really work well on the PC on day one, which is why it's not the same launch [date] as the Xbox One and the PS4 versions. It will come a bit later in the fall, but I think it will be worth the wait."
"We're working really hard on optimizing the game, making it run smoother on a wider range of PCs," he answered, when asked about the poor performance of the game on high-end computers. "We're really dedicating a team to working on this and making sure it shines."
And in a newer trailer released at GamesCom 2015, it seemed like Ubisoft has indeed stepped up its game for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" compared to its predecessor.
Watch the trailer below:
The trailer featured Evie Frye and he amazing skills that was yet to be introduced in any other "Assassin's Creed" franchise.
In addition to features that makes her invisible if she wants to, Evie Frye is also a master knife thrower.
And in an interview with DSO Gaming, Ubisoft's Senior Producer Francois Pelland explained why they chose London to be "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate's" new location.
"It's the first modern AC. The period is on London, 1868 during the Victorian Era and at the center of the Industrial period. You'll get to play the twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye that are conquering London district by district to achieve their assassin quest."
"Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" release date is set on Oct. 23, 2015
