While Red Hot Chili Peppers suffered from a set back due to unforeseen events, it seemed like the American rock band is now once again ready to move forward.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, who recently celebrated the 31st anniversary of their debut album, claimed that they are now back to recording again.
According to the band's drummer and Will Ferrell's doppleganger, Chad Smith, the band is ready to share "unique" and "very different" ideas for their new album.
"We've written and recorded in a way that we've never done before, so the record is going great," Smith told Rolling Stone. "We all have high hopes that it's going to take off and we're going to do something very different and unique for the Red Hot Chili Peppers."
Flea, the band's comical bassist, assured fans that he is back to doing "jamz" following his arm injury.
Flea took to his social media page to announce that he has completely recovered from the injury.
"Well boys and girls, my busted arm has finally healed to the point where I can play bass proper again," Flea posted recently. "RHCP back to jamz again next week!!!"
And while Red Hot Chili Peppers is busy with the progress of their new album, the band's former guitarist John Frusciante's guitar was reportedly stolen.
Good enough, Frusciante has already found his stolen guitar, which was then forwarded to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame according to SF Gate.
His $30,000 worth 1996 Fender Telecaster was reportedly stolen inside his friend's house, but police was quick to track the musical instrument.
