The Bleaching Game Is Strong! See Blaine Trying Hard To Look Undead In ‘iZombie’ Season 2!

| By

Blaine (David Anders) was making great money killing homeless kids and feeding their brains to socialite zombies in the first season that Liv's (Rose McIver) decision to cure him was definitely a punishment for the zombie mafia boss.

It's only logical then that he would disguise himself as one of the undead to maintain his street cred in "iZombie" season 2.

He's so desperate, in fact, that according to the show's executive producers, he will be doing everything he can to maintain that facade, including bleaching his hair blond.

Anders took to Twitter recently to reveal a sneak peek of himself as Blaine in "iZombie" season 2. Despite being cured by Liv in last season's finale, he looks like he'll be keeping up the disguise of being a zombie in order to keep his business going.

"#iZombie is a hair different this year," he captioned the photo he shared on the microblogging site.

Unlike his messy hair and dark, sunken eyes he previously sported, Anders definitely looks more "alive" than he did last season. He also shared a snap of his onscreen father, Angus, who will be played by "Prison Break" star Robert Knepper.

They previously worked together on NBC's "Heroes." According to past reports, Angus won't be a cuddly dad to Blaine. He will be introduced early on in the season when the cured zombie had no choice but to seek his old man for some cash. Needless to say, Angus isn't very proud of his own son.

Although Blaine won't suddenly turn all friendly and good in "iZombie" season 2, he and Liv will reportedly have to team up to stop the new big bad from killing every single zombie in Seattle. This puts Liv in danger and Blaine's business in peril as well.

"Blaine and Liv will figure out somewhere reasonably early in Season 2 that someone is eliminating zombies and that will make very strange bedfellows out of the two of them," showrunner Rob Thomas previously told TV Guide. "Certainly there's no love lost there, but they will find they may need each other's help before all zombies are taken out."

"iZombie" season 2 premieres on Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
