Unlike Daryl or his father Rick, Carl Grimes isn't exactly known for being a badass. In fact, many fans diss the character. But "The Walking Dead" season 6 may soon change all this.
"Whether he was told to stay in the house, babysit Judith, or left out of important missions, Carl Grimes has been long ignored on the show," Undead Walking said.
However, season 6 may be when Carl catches a break and gets taken more seriously.
In the past weekend, Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl in "TWD," appeared in Fan Expo Canada 2015 along with Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and Lennie James (Morgan), according to CinemaBlend.
A fan reportedly asked the actors about their favorite lines of their characters. All of them said it's Carl's line and after Riggs said it was "coming up," James weighed in and said:
"My favorite line isn't actually one of my favorite lines, it's a line that Chandler says in the new season. And it is utterly and completely brilliant... (brief pause to allow fans' cheering)... It is probably the best line ever!"
CB suggested Carl's line teased for season 6 could be the one he said in "The Walking Dead" comic book series when he defended another character from attack:
"You f*cking f*ckwads can go f*ck yourselves!"
But with Riggs being a kid and the explicit nature of the line, Hidden Remote wondered if AMC would allow it on the show. Then again, the network never really had a problem adapting the "TWD" comics for TV, the website pointed out.
AMC could have changed some words although it's also possible that Riggs, James and Reedus were referring to a different line.
Will Carl Grimes' utter his comic book persona's famous line or something entirely different? Find out when "The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres on Oct. 11 on AMC.
