"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoiler alert: it seems that Leonard and Penny's impromptu Vegas wedding will not be happening.
From the very start, "TBBT" fans have been hanging on to every episode, crossing their fingers for Penny and Leonard to finally hook up.
There have been multiple fails in their relationship in the past but it took a while for the couple to get to season 8 - when they finally decided to get married right away.
Of course, there were some problems in the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 finale, where Leonard and Penny were forced to re-evaluate their relationship.
However, this new "Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoiler just might be a major deal breaker - Leonard's "other woman" is about to be revealed. In fact, the show's casting directors had already picked out the actress who will play the character.
Melissa Tang, who had also previously appeared in another comedy hit show, "How I Met Your Mother," will be playing the role of "Mandy," the woman that Leonard made out with during his expedition in the North Sea to test hydrodynamic simulations of black holes.
According to TVLine, Mandy will be wrecking all kinds of relationship havoc on Penny and Leonard in "The Big Bang Theory" season 9, episode 2.
Aside from "How I Met Your Mother," Melissa Tang had also previously appeared on "New Girl" and she plays Suzanne Taylor on "Mom."
"TBBT" season 9 will pick up just a few hours after the cliff hanger season 8 finale episode, where major relationship bombs were dropped - Leonard and Penny eloping, Sheldon and Amy breaking up, Sheldon revealing an engagement ring, Raj being forced to stay in a relationship he doesn't want to be in and Howard and Bernadette having problems with their roommate.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere Sept. 21, Monday on CBS.
