Ed Sheeran Finally Found A New Girlfriend? Spends Labor Day Weekend With Cherry Seaborn!

| By

After being linked to various girls since his breakup with Athina Andrelos, it looks like Ed Sheeran finally found a new girlfriend.

The British acoustic star had been seen around New York City with an old school friend a few days ago. Although no outright PDA was shown by Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, speculations of them dating started circulating the rumor mill.

Suspicions rose when they stepped out together for a Mets game. They also appeared to have gone on late night around the Big Apple.

After a few days of speculation, a source reportedly confirmed to US Weekly that the pair are indeed "officially dating."

The high school pals didn't just keep their budding romance in New York either. They were spotted at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last Monday.

Scottish DJ and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris was spinning at the resort that day and the "Thinking Out Loud" singer brought his rumored new flame along for the Labor Day Weekend party.

The DJ also posted a group photo with Ed Sheeran and his new girlfriend, captioning the shot, "What a crew at Wet Republic today."

According to previous reports, the new couple both attended Thomas Mills High School in Sheeran's hometown Suffolk and only reconnected recently when they started following each other on Twitter.

Seaborn is currently living in New York, reportedly working as an Advisory Consultant at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

It looks like his friends did succeed in hooking him up with a "normal" girl after breaking up with food assistant Athina Andrelos.

Although he supposedly wanted "someone down to earth and normal to share his life with," the Grammy-nominated singer had been linked to several models and famous singers in the past months.

Ed Sheeran's most recent rumored girlfriend was former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger. Sources said that he even brought her home to his hometown and introduced her to his favorite pub.
